Bantwal: 54-year-old dies in scooter-truck collision at Budoli

Bantwal, Aug 12: In an accident that occurred at Budoli under Vittal police station limits in the taluk, a scooter rider died when his scooter collided with a truck.

Ganesh Bangera (54), son of Manju Belchada, resident of Kanyana Parakaje, is the unfortunate victim of this accident. The deceased was going towards Uppinangady on some personal work.

The truck which was approaching from the opposite side rammed into his scooter.

The scooter and rider both were stuck under the truck due to the impact of the accident. The scooter rider was immediately shifted to hospital in an ambulance by Mani Social Iqua Federation workers Shareef, Shamsheer Budoli and auto rickshaw driver Iqbal. Doctors declared Ganesh brought dead.

Vittal police inspector Nagaraj H visited the spot and investigated further.
