Bengaluru, Aug 12: BJP national chief secretary C T Ravi said that Congress had opened Indira canteens to fill their ATMs and not out of love for former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Ravi was speaking at a press conference in the city. He further said, “Let the Congress party open Indira canteen and Nehru hookah bar in their party office. I have proposed to change the name of Indira canteen to Annapoorneshwari canteen. We remember the good contributions done by Nehru and Indira Gandhi. But we are not slaves to accept everything.

“Our political opponents keep on playing the same old gramophone record plates. One of them is Siddaramaiah. He should update himself. We are not against Ambedkar. Congress party got him defeated twice. Update your software.

“In parliament, in spite of non-cooperation by Congress and opposition parties, important decisions are taken by the union government. As many as 671 OBC communities will get justice. BJP is committed to reservation and social justice. Our government works complimentary to the same,” he said.
