Blasphemous comments case: Harish Bangera to reach India on Aug 18, confirms Shobha Karandlaje

New Delhi, Aug 14: Harish Bangera, native of Udupi, who was arrested and imprisoned by the Saudi authorities for allegedly making blasphemous comments on the Saudi Crown Prince and Mecca, the holy site of Muslims across the world and released recently, will reach Bengaluru on August 18.

This information was given by Shobha Karandlaje, union minister for agriculture and farmers’ welfare.

All the procedures that are required to repatriate Harish to the motherland are complete. He will be flying from Dammam airport of Saudi Arabia on August 17 and reach Bengaluru international airport via Doha on August 18.

Shobha has received an official message in this regard from the Indian embassy in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia.

In the West satire, and making fun of political and religious leaders is common, and in most cases it is ignored. By throwing him in Jail. and releasing him 2 years later, what did anyone achieve, nothin. But this guy will become a hero in the years to come.

If any minority had made such blashpemous comment in the so called Secular India he would have been lynched to death by the peaceful Hindutva activists. While staying in India whole life renowned painter M.F.Hussain done wrong posters on God and Godesses. Is it not a eligible intelligent person who didnt know to hurt sentiments of majority people. At his ripe age he left India and taken citizenship of Doha Qatar..and latter died in U.K. buried in Emirates. He lost all respects poured by Indian people at last stage with his grave mistake. No one escape from wrong doings. Raja woh yeah Runk.

Be very careful in what you post or forward in social media, specially when you are abroad and on matters of religious practices! Be very sensitive. Gone just for work, Not to get involved in unnecessary matters. Practice restraints right at home country!

Is it possible Dsouza to highlight people doing blasphemous remark made on Sanatana Dharma God and Godesses. What action should be taken in this matter. In what way we want to tackle the matter in India..which is happening in large number.

I totally agree with your points but its not only of Sanathana Dharma, each one has their own sentiments when it comes to religion of individual.
