Mangaluru, Aug 15: The city on Sunday August 15 got a new destination for home furnishing with the inauguration of Eco Design furniture store at 2 acre Pacchanady, Bondel.

Parish priest Bondel church Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza blessed the store.

Eco Design store was established in 1996. Eco Design specializes in 100% in rubber wood furniture and complete home interiors. The showroom and factory is located in Mangaluru and occupies 20,000 sq ft of state of the art manufacturing facilities. The store offer interiors on a turnkey basis as per the client’s requirements.

Eco Design has a skilled and talented team of craftsmen and designers who make furniture items in exact compliance with customer specifications. The store continuously designs new products to meet the changing consumer needs.

Eco Design consists of rubber wood furniture, a renewable and sustainable source of timber. Rubber is a perennial crop with a positive impact on the environment. Eco Design is commited to the environment, using only rubber wood.

Proprietor of Eco Design furniture store Micheal Rego said, "Eco Design which was established in the year 1996 has earned a lot of fame. This was the first of its kind to have rubber wood furniture back in 1996, making its furniture eco-friendly, termite-free, durable for life, affordable and easy to maintain. We have been into interior designs since 1996, working in Goa, Bengaluru and Mangaluru.

"We will soon introduce packages of rubber wood furniture’s for 2 BHK and the packages include everything from dining, chairs, wardrobes to kitchen. The package will benefit everyone as it is economical. Rubber wood is a natural wood, you will not find any flaws in rubber wood. In the last 25 years we have specialized in rubber wood furniture and we have a lot of furniture range," Rego said.
