Mangaluru: MCC Bank Ltd’s renovated founders’ branch inaugurated, blessed

Mangaluru, Aug 16: The renovated and fully air-conditioned founders’ branch of MCC Bank Ltd, was inaugurated by branch in-charge director, Dolphy J Patrao. The chairman, Anil Lobo, inaugurated the escalator services which has been installed for the benefit of our constituents and senior citizens who visit 1st floor and 2nd floor for carrying on their business with the bank. Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, parish priest of Milagres church, blessed the renovated and air-conditioned branch premises, the new lift services, Rest room at the 2nd floor for resource persons (who come to train the staff or to conduct seminars) and also the new ATM machine during the occasion.

Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, in his address, congratulated the chairman, vice chairman, directors and the staff of the bank and called upon all to work with a spirit of co-operation and unity. He opined that the people of Mangaluru are intelligent, sincere, trust worthy and hence emphasized that good service, service with a smile and dignified service will automatically attract the customers; which will in turn help the bank to reach greater heights.

It may be recalled that around three months ago, furniture and interiors of the founders’ branch were damaged in a fire accident which occurred due to an electric short circuit. The branch was shifted temporarily to the adjacent NRE cell to render hassle free services to customers. Now, the Founders branch has been renovated with a new look and has been opened for the customers for all banking services.

The consulting engineer, Karthik Kiran, who was instrumental in the renovation of the branch, was honoured.

Vice chairman Jerald Jude D’Silva, directors Andrew D’Souza, David D’Souza, Irene Rebello, Dr Freeda Flavia D’Souza, Anil Patrao, Roshan D’souza, Harold Monteiro and Marcel D’Souza, professional directors C G Pinto, Micheal D’Souza, former chairman and legal advisor, M P Noronha, general manager, Sunil I Menezes, DGM, and Raj F Menezes, were also present during the occasion.

Branch manager Blanche Fernandes rendered the vote of thanks. Shainy D’Souza, branch staff, compered the programme.
