Assarain emerged as the Champions of month long Grand Nawras Ramadan Challengers Cricket Cup 2010 held on Friday night as Sidab Football Stadium. Assarain reached to the Finals after having a close game with Coastal, whereas Al Faisal reached to the finals after having a close game with Taiseer Electronics. It was a awesome end of the third edition of Ramadan Challengers Cricket Cup 2010 and all the players , spectators enjoyed the each and every moment of this grand cricket cup. This third edition of the Nawras Ramadan Challengers Cricket Cup 2010 was started last month on 12th August and total 32 teams from reputed companies have participated in this Grand cricketing event of the year. The Stadium was full of its capacity and the crowd present in the stadium enjoyed the each and every moment of the Nawras Ramadan Challengers Cricket Cup 2010. Live commentary and huge crowd present in the stadium enjoyed each and every cricketing shot of the tournament .
Organizers Said “We are thankful to all of our sponsors for their continuous and Generous support .We are equally thankful to all thirty two cricket teams for their participation as the participation is equally important”
The Prize ceremony was also held on the stadium and Anwar Salim Al Habsi , Events & Sponsorship Specialist was present to give away the Grand Prizes. In addition, Sanjay Rao , Brand Manager , OMASCO , DR VS Kumar General Manager , Mustafa Sultan exchange company LLC , Rajesh Sharma, Business Development Manager – Al Hashar Group, and Krishnana Balakrishnan- National Head of Sales – Light Vehicles. Were present as Guests of Honor.

In addition to stunning trophies , all the individuals played in Final matches were awarded with Alba Watches and Man of the Tournament , Best batsman of the Tournament got the return air tickets sponsored by Travel City and jet Airways. Organisers declared this event a huge success bringing entertainment to not only 32 teams but also for the huge spectators present in the stadium.
This one month biggest cricket tournament is being sponsored by Nawras and supported by Mustafa Sultan Exchange company LLC, Al Hashar Group of companies , Proton (Malaysia’s no 1 Car), Alba Watches (Executive class watches from OMASCO), Park Inn Muscat and Travel City LLC.

Al Faisal CT vs Taiseer electronics
Al Faisal CT won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 32 Runs for 8 wickets from their 8 overs ( Amir Kaleem-7, Amir Ali-6) . Zaheer from Taiseer Electronics took 3 wickets by giving 4 runs.
In reply Taiseer Electronics lost all of their wickets at 23 Runs , Shamas took 4 wickets by giving 2 runs.

2nd Semifinal Match
Assarain vs Coastal CC
This was the most thrilling match of the tournament. Assarain won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 29 Runs in 8 overs They lost 9 wickets . Imran from Coastal took 4 wickets.
In reply Assarain also scored 29 Runs by losing 8 wickets. The match winner was decided by Ball out.

Final Match:-
Assrain won the toss and decide to bat and scored the 41 Runs for 8 wickets ( Waseem-9, Nadeem-8) Irfan took 3 wickets by giving only 4 runs.
In reply Al faisal CT Scored 7 Runs and lost one wicket in 1.4 overs. Two batsman from Al Faisal CT were on batting. While running for a single run Batsman collapsed with cover fielder . Umpired declared batsman out and inspite of respecting the umpire’s decision both the batsman walked away from the Ground. Committee requested team to return back and in spite of that Al Faisal CT walk out from the stadium.
As per the rules committee declared Assarain as the Winner of the tournament
