Udupi: Thieves Decamp With Cash, Gold Jewellery Worth Rs 1.5 Lac

Udupi, Sep 26: A theft of cash and jewellery worth Rs 1.50 lac from a house owned by Mustaq Ahmed, a resident of Belapu here was reported in the wee hours of Sunday September 26. 

Ahmed and his family had returned from a funeral in Kundapur at 12.30 am on Sunday and at about 3 am the thieves entered the house while they were fast asleep. The thieves decamped with cash and 10 sovereigns of gold jewellery. 

Shirva police registered a case in this regard and the investigations are on.
