Beltangady, Aug 19: On August 13, 2021 Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) launched Each One Teach One (EOTO) programme for the welfare of the Daya Special School Children which is a sister concern Organisation of Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra run by Capuchin Fathers of Karnataka Province at Belthangady.
Rinna D’souza, the ex KCWA president, Gilbert Mathaias and Alger Mathaias members of KCWA visited Daya Special School and handed over a cheque to the director of Daya Special School Vinod Mascarenhas. On receiving the cheque Fr Vinod recalled the support extended by KCWA to Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra, he said KCWA is the founding partner of Daya Special School; it is they who came forward first and offered their support to the organization. Hence it is the loving child of KCWA. They have all reason to feel proud and cheerful because DAYA is now growing towards adolescent stage.
He remembered very fondly all those past and present KCWA presidents, office bearers for their continued encouragement and contribution towards this noble cause. He thanked all the family members of KCWA for contributing generously in spite of Covid-19 hardships. It is selfless and kind efforts of every KCWA member that has pooled together such good amount for the well being of these most deprived children of Belangady taluk.
Rinna thanked all the members of near and far of the KCWA organization for showing so much of interest to raise funds for these vulnerable children without bothering much about difficult times. There were some inmates of Daya Special School who had come for the medical treatment witnessed this beautiful programme. The programme began with a welcome speech by the School Special Educator Divya T V and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dannya.
