Road to Ram Janmabhoomi to be named after Kalyan Singh

Lucknow, Aug 23 (IANS): The main road leading to the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya will now be named after former Chief Minister, late Kalyan Singh.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya said that this would be a tribute to the contribution of the late leader in the Ayodhya movement and his commitment to the Ram temple.

One road in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Bulandshahr and Aligarh would also be named after Kalyan Singh.

"The PWD department will soon complete the formalities in this regard," Maurya told reporters.

Kalyan Singh died in Lucknow on Saturday night after a prolonged illness.

    Mughal Museum in Agra will be named after Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj.Aghe aghe dekho hotha hai kya...its now just beginning. Majority people jaag chuke hai. Given much opportunity to improve...but failed.

    Shiva, Bailoor-Karkala.... Fully agree with you. Hindus woke up in such a high spirituality, it is difficult to stop them. However, be assured that Hindu does not have blasphemy theory or Kaafir theory. Hindus does not believe in applying Jeziya tax. Hindus wont believe in inquisition. Hence, everyone can live happy.
