Ayodhya Judgement New Chapter for National Unity: Advani

New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani said Thursday that the Allahabad High Court judgment had upheld the right of Hindus to build a grand temple at the "place of birth of Lord Ram" and opens a new era for inter-community relations.

Reading out a statement after a meeting of senior BJP leaders at his residence, Advani said that the judgment was an important step in the construction of the Ram temple.

"The judgment has reinforced the right of Hindus to build a grand temple at the sanctum sanctorum. It is an important step forward for constructing the temple at the birth place of Lord Ram," Advani said.

He said Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) experts and agencies appointed by the court had also said that there was a Hindu structure at the place where the disputed structure had been built.

"BJP feels that the verdict opens a new chapter for national integration and a new era for inter-community relations. It is a matter of satisfaction that the judgement has been accepted by people with maturity," Advani said.

The meeting at Advani's residence was attended by BJP president Nitin Gadkari, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and senior leaders including Venkaiah Naidu, Murli Manohar Joshi and Rajnath Singh.

Hope all BJP, RSS and other groups will keep calm and they should not talk too much about verdict. The court gave its verdict for peace and better living. BJP leaders did more than enough in this country always saying Hinduism and Lord Rama’s name. They killed many and tried to destroy the nation. Temple is the place for worship not talk or spread the politics. Hope all citizens of India must know who are these people always talk about religion and why they talk? Think before you vote, understand before you act, realize before it hurts – never ever listen any Political leaders in religion issue. They are stupid and will trick you and destroy you where you will loose everything and you can not live like a human being.

Hi Trouble maker (Advani), Hope you are happy now. Don't even dare to find any more sites. Keep your politics away from religion.

Anyway judgement is against your interest (no more BJP agenda). Many Mulisms became victim because of your master plan.

India will be happy to have Grand temple for RAM. I really appriciate it. Let it become religious centre place where all people Bhranmins and Sudras (SC/ST) can worship same God RAM.

We are peace loving people. We all Indians respect our soil. We should not bring our diffrences to riots. It is therefore important for all religious traditions to respect one another and recognize the value of each other's respective traditions. We Indians all are one. Please... please maintain the peace and love one another.
