Shimoga: Three of Family Including Mangalore Student Die in Accident

Shimoga, Oct 1: In a tragic accident that occurred in the wee hours on Thursday September 30 in front of Agriculture Produce Market Committee on Sagar Road here, three members of a family perished. All the three were moving on a motor bike, when the accident occurred. Madhu (22) studying in Mangalore was one among the victims.

Madhu (22) had come to the city to spend week end with family, as holiday had been declared for schools and colleges. His father, Gangadharappa (45), a resident of Puradalu village near here, had come to the bus stand along with his other son, Manjunath (15), in a motor bike to pick Madhu. The three were returning to their village in the motor bike when a private bus hit their vehicle, killing all the three. Gangadharappa died on the spot, while Manjunath and Madhu, who were bleeding profusely, breathed their last at the government McGann Hospital later.

The policemen of traffic station have registered a case.
