Mangalore: Bishop Hails Court Verdict on Ayodhya Issue

Mangalore, Oct 1: Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza of Mangalore Diocese stated in a press release that the Lucknow Court verdict on the Ayodhya issue was a milestone in the history of the judiciary.

The Allahabad High Court has awarded justice taking into consideration all litigants, he said.

It’s a significant victory for justice in the Ayodhya issue which had dragged on for many years. He said that this should inspire every countryman to lead a life of communal harmony and peace.

    Good Comments Mr.Joegonsalves, Mangalore/U.S.A. sadly easier said than done. While "we the people" can and hopefully take the judgement in the right perspective - BE AWARE that the politicians have an agenda for their own self interests. Beneath the CALM lies a STORM - having said that let us hope and pray that the youth of today who are in the know of things will ensure that OUR INDIA which is on the threshold of CHANGE will prove to the world what REAL DEMOCRACY is as in living AMICABLY Without distinction of CASTE & CREED.

    Our concept should be PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE. Now that the verdict is given, it is expedient that all parties join hands and find a permanent solution to the problem and ensure that that there is no room for fights in future.

    I would strongly recommend that a body under the name and title 'COMMUNAL HARMONY' be formed. This body could have regular meetings and ensure that differences are ironed out.

    This concept should go a long way in establishing peace.
