Kundapur: Elroy K Crasta Elected All India Catholic Union State President

Kundapur, Oct 2: Elroy Kiran Crasta, a parishioner of Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary parish, Gangolli, near here, was elected state president of All India Catholic Union for a two-year term during the 56th annual general body meeting held in Mangalore, recently.
Crasta was the first president to be elected from Udupi district. He was the former president of Catholic Sabha of both Kundapur and Udupi deanery. He was the founder president of Indian Catholic Youth
Movement (ICYM), Kundapur deanery, and serves as president of St Vincent De Paul Society, Kundapur deanery.
Crasta also serves as a member of Mangalore diocesan pastoral council, and is a senate member of Sacred Heart College, Madantyar in Beltangady taluk. He was the former secretary of Janatha
High School Alumni Association, Hemmady, near here, besides being the former vice-president of Gangolli parish council.
