Sri Lankan terror suspects in Kerala: High alert sounded in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi

Mangaluru, Aug 31: A high alert is sounded on the coast of Kerala and Karnataka on the suspicion that terrorists have landed on the coast of Kerala from Sri Lanka.

As per intelligence reports, the extremists arrived at the coast of Kerala in two mechanized boats. The intelligence department has alerted the Kerala police that the suspected terrorists have landed at Alappuzha port.

Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are also put on high alert.

It is said that 12 terrorists have entered the coastal part of Kerala from Sri Lanka. They are on their way to Pakistan. Coast guard and coastal protection force is put on high alert. They are asked to increase the frequency of patrol on the sea. 

Fishermen are informed to convey the matter to the police in case they find any suspicious people or boat on the sea.
