Ayodhya:Fresh Moves for Out of Court Settlement

Ayodhya, Oct 4 (PTI): Fresh moves appear to be afoot to resolve the Ayodhya dispute out of court, three days after the Allahabad High Court verdict in the case.

Mohammad Hashim Ansari, one of the main litigants in the title suits, today met Mahant Gyan Das of Hanumanghari who is also President of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad to explore the possibility of an amicable solution.

Though Mahant Gyan Das refused to divulge details, 90-year-old Ansari said: "I have initiated the move after being asked by the Sunni Central Wakf Board."

During an hour-long closed door meeting between Gyan Das and Ansari at Hanumanghari, famous Lord Hanuman temple near the makeshift temple on the disputed site, discussions revolved around ways to chalk out an agreement on the 60-year-old temple-mosque dispute.

I feel God has better and wise plans for Ayodhya. Now it is the time for reconciliation and out of court settlement. Here people should not talk about logical evidences but should respect the feeling and beliefs of masses who still believe that their Lord Ram was born in Ayodhya where the Babri masjid stood. As a respect for their feelings we muslims must get out of the place and build masjid outside the disputed land with the help of both hindus and muslims.

God never wanted quarrel in his name. The courts verdict itself is of reconciliatory nature and instead of going by concrete evidence the court has submitted to the belief of masses there by calling all the party to sit, talk and negotiate for a peaceful settlement he need of the hour is peace and understanding. Please keep away Modi, Togadia, Advani, Naqvi, Shahnawaz Hussain, Mohan Bhagwat and the like. Just talk to the parties involved and seek a permanent solution that brings about ever lasting peace and brotherhood. I love my nation more than Ayodhya or Babri Masjid.

This is the time to bury the differences and march forward for mutual benefits. History is history and no one can re write it or corrrect the historical mistakes. Babri should be first and the last. There should not be claims and counter claims. With good understandings from both communities we can build a stable and peaceful India.
