Mangaluru: Gang stabs man over trivial issue, injured hospitalised

Mangaluru, Sep 3: A gang stabbed a man over some minor argument at Edurupadavu on the outskirts of the city late night on Thursday September 2.

Ninganna, native of Bagalkot, is the person who received a stab injury to his head. It is said that the gang which stabbed Ninganna was in an inebriated state.

The people involved in the stabbing belong to the gang of Divakar alias Diva, resident of Edurupadavu.

Kavoor police visited the spot. Ninganna was admitted to Wenlock hospital.

    Srikar Udipi ,please dont come with this language again.Show you are a educated one.Our locals also are not the best ones.He must be now suffering with some headache ,because of head injury.Can also die when it is severe.Be careful.Why we should blame these "outsiders"Are we not going to Gulf or America to have better life?And sometimes take whole family with?One should be careful when blaming others ,look at your back first.

    Arre Rita madam, we do migrate to many places.. but most of them mind their business and mingle well with the locals. Please visit some of the ghettos in DK udupi where these guys are in majority. They absolutely have 0 civic sense. There must be some reason why he got hit. If he has migrated to a different place for livelihood he should mind his business and not simply get into any argument with locals.

    Mrs Rita, I know porbus and bayammas love migrating to different countries. They have no love for their roots. Their numbers in DK and udupi are already dwindling... Another 50 years and there will be hardly anyone left...

    For these people mangalore is like Gulf. Who made them to come Mangalore in large number? Yes we Mangalore responsible. They come here for work within month they bring their family/relatives staying in one room. No one is there to control them. All most 90% of Mangalore job and business occupied by out siders. There is no doubt Very soon they will fool on us.
