Drug peddler from Ullal who remained evasive for eight years held in Bengaluru

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 3: A notorious drug peddler who used to smuggle intoxicating substances into the city from other states, and had succeeded in lying low and evading arrest for eight long years, has finally been arrested by the police personnel of Kengeri subdivision here.

The arrested accused happens to be Hamid (32) from Ullal. With his arrest, investigation in the three cases registered in Tavarekere station, nine in Byadarahalli and another case registered in Vijayanagara police station, can now progress. This was stated by city western division deputy commissioner of police, Sanjeev M Patil.

The accused used to bring ganja from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh which he stored in the godown in Ullal here. From there he supplied drugs to young people from different parts of the city through the sub-peddlers. Moreover, he also kept the local people on tenterhooks by spreading terror in the area with the help of petty rowdies. The locals had mentioned about the ruffians and the ganja trade through social websites.

When city police commissioner, Kamal Pant, visited Ullal, the locals had approached him with this complaint. A team comprising Kengeri subdivision assistant commissioner of police Krishna Kumar, Jnanabharati police inspector Laman Nayak, Annapoorneshwarinagar station inspector Lohit, and police sub inspector Sanganabasappa, was formed to crack the case. The team which conducted elaborate searches for the last eight months in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, arrested the accused based on reliable information.

Along with Hamid, his brother, Saeed, who also is an accused, has been arrested. A police outpost has been opened in the BBMP building at Ullal. Those who helped Hamid in his crimes, those who were involved with criminal activities and belonged to other states, have fled from their homes. The officials said that patrolling has been intensified.

Hamid was constructing a new house with three stories after buying a site in Vishveshvaraya layout sixth phase. The police said that he was using money he earned from sale of drugs and threatening the locals, for the construction of this house.

Readers, drugs/narcotics fetches enormous revenues.. almost non detectable, easily transportable, controlled by close knit syndicates, with deep influential pockets !!!! They are so well connected, that they manage to stay camouflaged in their society, which gives them anonymity to begin business in other locations very easily... The state can definitely bust their synchronized base, political will is required to finish these louts, scourge to mankind !!!

The hate Mr real kujuma has for other religion and communities is un real, Every post he makes it a point to take a communal stance. You might be thinking you are doing a service to the people of your community but you are dragging down everyone by showing your venomous nature. A crime is a crime despite the religion involved, Kindly think twice before using words like majority are cowards and using the name of dead people, Have some shame and be happy that you are living in a country like india which has given equal opportunity to everyone . You are not only dragging yourself down but you are also dragging the community you are representing . When a person has committed a mistake , agree to it and do not try to defend him just because he is from your religion A crime sympathizer is as guilty as the criminal itself

dear rk..i think you mistook me..as a patriotic Indian i wish our country should be drug free. i also know that most of the drug peddlers are from minority..but the point I stressed was that if there are no buyers from majority community the business will not thrive.. so i suggested that majority community has to stop consuming drugs and put an end to this menace.. hope you got my point..probably like tubelight you understand bit late..it is fine..have a dose of....

On what factual basis are you saying majority has the most consumers? If your minority stops selling then people will have no places to buy it from. And do not say that I mistook your intentions, We can see your intentions from a mile away. And thank you I dont need a dose of ... Pork sorpothel and beer keeps me happy

Looks like you have first hand knowledge regarding the customers, Typical toppi behavior by playing the victim and saying since people want drugs , I will sell drugs. Please do not make an effort to justify sir, My only problem is with your statement which is wrong in so many ways. There is nothing more manly than owning up to your mistake. Some loafer got caught selling drugs and extorting money out of people and you are involving the issue of majority minority , Veer savarkar and what not. If you do not have any valuable comments for the situation then refrain from commenting, You are just making a fool out of yourself by shitting all over the comment section with absolute BS

Majority don't go for expensive ganja and charas when scotch whiskey, vodka and feni are available openly in bars and wine shops. These are haram for the minority, that's why they get involved in illegal drugs. Even worldwide one can observe that drugs flourish more in countries where there is no liquor.

Kujuma is fake just like his name. if a person who comments cannot put his real name and he calls others as coward. it's like Kettle calling Pot black. Anyway, anyone who consumes drug is surely coward because, he or she is trying to run away from real world using substance. but, a person who profits and feeds his family and children from this ill gotten money cannot be called anything more than a cannibal. So, who ever is supporting such Cannibal Criminals cannot be any better. At least give real name Kujuma so that, people don't misjudge where you are coming from . You may be from the same Majority community you hate.

i have never supported the drug peddler..I am just saying that the consumers are as guilty as the seller..so you know for sure most of the consumers are your cadre..so your rightwing organizations can ask them not to consume..end of the story.. dont worry about my name...i know how many fakes are there in korikatta and jugari shettys

No one is supporting any Jugari Shetty or any Jugaris. Rather no one will cry victim card when caught. Koridha aata we are proud of it :) . we wear Mundas and carry our well reared Kori like a man. Unlike someone stealing Cattles and carrying drugs inside every part of the body . Once again, only cowards hide their real name.

This coward shelter under those fake names, cowards are those who use women & children for terror attacks and use them as human shield, killing innocent people is not bravery, our soldiers and police force stand for gallantry ..... Descendants of moguls are selling drugs is what an irony .....

peddlers are from minority but consumers are from majority as the majority people are like coward veer savarkar...they just depend on others and beg for anything.. so the arrest of this man does not mean that he is only involved in drug dealing...the customers are from majority community.. that should be stopped so that there will be no more peddling..
