Bantwal, Sep 3: A 60-year-old man lost his life in an accident between a scooter and jeep at Navoora on Friday September 3.

The deceased has been identified as Abbas, a resident of Navoora.

Abbas was riding the scooter. The jeep, approaching from the opposite direction, collided with the scooter near Navoora Masjid.

Abbas suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital. Abbas reportedly did not respond to the treatment and died.

A case is filed at Melkar traffic police station.
