Mangaluru: Mulki-based entrepreneur Nagaraj gets threat call from underworld

Mangaluru, Sep 6: Nagaraj, an entrepreneur living near the bus stand at Mulki, reportedly received a threat call in the name of underground element, Kali Yogesh. Nagaraj, in a complaint made to the city police commissioner here, said he has received threat to his life.

He said that at 11 am on Saturday August 4, he received the call through an internet number. The caller who called the mobile phone of Nagaraj, spoke in Tulu and placed a demand for money. Kali Yogesh, it is said, had made several internet calls to Nagaraj in December, 2017.

After getting angry that Nagaraj did not respond to his calls, he had sent his accomplices to fire at the house and car of Nagaraj. They had fired three bullets. In an operation launched thereafter, the police had arrested three accused. The case is being heard by the Mysuru court and the accused are in judicial custody. In the midst of these things, Nagaraj has received another threat call.
