Mangaluru, Sep 6: “The JD(S) membership campaign for 2021- 22 was set in motion by party district in charge Sudhaker Shetty after lighting the lamp.
He said that party taluk level office bearers and executive committee will initially be elected from among the members. The district level office bearers will be elected out of them later.
The adhoc committee will be created and district president and office bearers will be appointed in a few days. Till then taluk and district level presidents will be identified and honoured. It is my priority to make sincere activists who have remained aloof disliking the party to work actively in the party,” he said.
Party district president Mohammed Kunhi said that he worked sincerely for the growth of the party for the last six years. “I am vacating my post on my own accord remembering the party leaders and activists who cooperated with me,” he said. He assured that he will work for the party.
Another leader M B Sadashiva explained the way the party grew in the district during the last 43 years.
Party observer committee convener Jakemadhava Gowda welcomed. Pravin Chandra Jain thanked. Vasanth Poojary compered the programme.
Party leaders Sunshil Noronha, Iqbal Mulki, Rathnaker Suvarna, Aboobacker Natekal, Akshith Suvarna, D P Hammabba, Sumathi Hegde, Rajashree Hegde, Ajith Malar, Dhanaraj, Azeez Kudroli, Dayakar Alva, Ibrahim Golikatte, Diwaker Thodar, Nazeer Ullal, N P Pushparajan, Farook Ullal, Ashraf Kallige and Meera Saheb expressed their opinions.
