Gujarat Billavara Sangha observes 167th birth anniversary of Narayana Guru

Baroda, Sep 7: Gujarat Billavara Sangha celebrated 167th birth anniversary of Brahmashree Narayana Guru at Baidyashree cultural auditorium, Alkapur, Baroda with Bhajans and religious rituals on September 5.

A hall programme held later was chaired by GBS president Vishwanath G Poojary Bardoli in the leadership and guidance of honorary president Dayananda Bontra.

Former president Mohan C Poojary Ahmedabad, ex president Manoj C Poojary, vice president Vasu Poojary Baroda, Harish Poojary, Vasu Poojary, V D Ameen, Sadashiva Poojary Vapi, education committee head Lakshman Poojary Baroda and office bearers were on the dais.

Students who are toppers during the year 2020-21 were presented scholarships.

Vishwanath G Poojary welcomed. Lakshman Poojary explained about scholarships. Revathi Poojary compered the felicitations. Joint treasurer Ravi Salian congratulated all those who contributed for the programme. Chief secretary Vasu V Suvarna rendered a vote of thanks.

Gujarat Billava Sangha Vapi, Ankaleshwar, Surath, Baroda and Ahmedabad branch members took part in the programme. The programme concluded after distributing traditional Maha Prasada.
