RSS chief coming to Patna on Thursday


Patna, Sep 8 (IANS): Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is arriving in Patna on Thursday on a one-day visit.

Bhagwat will meet officials of the Public Relation Department at Vijay Niketan, located at Rajendra Nagar area.

RSS Bihar chief Vinesh Kumar said that Bhagwat will stay in Patna for a few hours and then go to Jharkhand.

"Bhagwat will take the assessment of all the works in Bihar. Besides, he will also take the assessment of the RSS Bihar unit for the preparation of the third wave of corona," he said.

Sources said that the main motive of Bhagwat's visit is to assess the expansion of the RSS on the ground level in Bihar.

Bhagwat last visited Bihar on December 4, 2020 for the Mandal Karyakarini meeting. He had also led the foundation stone-laying of the Sewa Sadan building located near Patna AIIMS.
