UP BJP to launch 20-day celebrations for Modi's birthday

Lucknow, Sep 10 (IANS): The BJP in Uttar Pradesh will be launching a 20-day 'Sewa Aur Samarpan Abhiyan' to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 20 years in politics from September 17, which is also his 71st birthday.

The party will organise health camps, blood donation camps, cleanliness and vaccination drives, besides environment protection campaigns across the state from September 17 till October 7.

It was also decided that the party will hold 'chaupals' in all 27,700 Shakti Kendras comprising 1.63 lakh booths on September 19 to mark the completion of four-and-a-half years of the Yogi Adityanath government in the state.

According to Uttar Pradesh BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh, "The aim is to take various decisions of the state government to the public."

On September 20, all the BJP MLAs will reach out to the people and tell them about the development works undertaken in their Assembly constituencies.

This will be followed by a door-to-door campaign from September 26.

On October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, cleanliness drives will be held at the division level.

The action plan was prepared after discussing in detail the upcoming organisational programmes and campaigns.

Meanwhile, BJP national president J.P. Nadda will launch the 'Booth Vijay Abhiyan' on September 11. Along with this, the party will also complete the work of appointing 'Panna Pramukhs' from September 11 to September 20.

The national properties are being sold -- rather squandered away by the Modi government as a "clearance sale"."The Rs six lakh crore sale of India's properties is shocking as the Modi government has put India's every public asset on sale," 78369 These include, 27,000 kms of highways, 6,000 MW of power generation and 28,000 kms of power transmission lines, 8,000 kms of gas pipeline, 210 lakh metric ton of foodgrain storage, 2.86 lakh kms of telecom fibre and 15,000 telecom towers, 25 airports, nine ports, 761 mining blocks, two national stadiums, 1.52 lakh crore worth of railway property. Along with ‘disinvestment' and ‘privatisation', the Modi government has now hit upon the idea of ‘monetisation', that is, transferring effective ownership of public assets created over the last 67 years to a handful of crony friends, while the government will hang on to a piece of paper of ownership that will only be returned to the government at the end of 30 to 50 years.

    UP has one of the worst death cases per thousand in India and why the hell BJP wants celebrate Modi’s birthday for 20 days and spread covid further?.Dead bodies in Ganges and in shallow graves again.
