UP man held for luring people to convert to Christianity

Mahoba (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 13 (IANS): The Mahoba police arrested a man for allegedly luring people for conversion.

The arrested person has been identified as Ashish John, a resident of Alipura in the Panwadi area, who had tried to convert several people by luring them financially.

Ashish had converted to Christianity about 20 years ago.

The office-bearers of several right-wing outfits had complained about Ashish's activities and had demanded action against him.

The accused was arrested on Sunday and booked under sections 3 and 5 of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Ordinance, 2020.

    Is advertising of products and services unlawful? Is professing and practicing faith is unlawful? Is ISKON Hare Rama hare Krishna mission preaching and people joining them unlawful? Can they also be termed as luring people to their fold? Why selective arrests?

When Christian man builds temple on his own land and money who guys accept it whole heartedly......when a christian man worships some of Daiva and cleans temple premises, lights lamps, you have no problems. When hundreds of Christian girls are married to Hindu boys....you accept and no problem. Brahmin boys getting married to pork & beef eaters in Americas and Europe...you have no issues at all. What you call it then itching.....kachguli.....mande bechcha.....or What....??? Use the same measure then you can justify yourself as the Satya Harischandra.
