Netflix’s latest series features Mangaluru police commissioner N Shashi Kumar

Mangaluru, Sep 15: Well-known OTT platform Netflix has released the trailer of Crime Stories: India Detectives, a documentary series. It features city police commissioner N Shashi Kumar.

The series will release on September 22. It has four episodes of four major crimes which took place in Bengaluru.

London based creative director Clare and Jack had contacted the then Bengaluru Commissioner Bhaskar Rao who took the initiative to help make the documentary series. The series was shot for a year during 2019. The creative director had team members in Bengaluru which included Naveen, Riccha, Tarun, Amith and Sandeep.

“The series is not fictional, but shot in real time from the time of offence reported. They frequently interacted with the police, victim’s family and media. I was working in the north division were three cases were reported which are showed in real time in the documentary series,” said Shashi Kumar.
