Mangaluru: Hindi Divas celebrated at Mount Carmel Central School

Mangaluru, Sep 16: Hindi Divas was celebrated on September 14 in Mount Carmel Central School. With the current situation of the pandemic, the school was not able to showcase the celebration to the students in the school premises. But facing the pandemic with a positive aspect, they streamed onboard YouTube, thus creating awareness of Hindi language to the students and viewers.

The students of class 7 gave the programme a head start invoking blessings of the almighty. For the promotion of Hindi as a language the students came up with beautiful and meaningful poems and displayed the beauty of the official language in ways unknown.

The celebration came to an end with the principal enlightening all with her encouraging words emphasising on the use of Hindi language in the day-to-day lives. To mark this day the following online competitions were organised for the students class-wise.

Class IV & V -Story Writing
Class VI -Mono Act
Class VII & VIII - Poetry Writing
Class IX & X - Comic Strip
