Mangaluru: Free Covid vaccination camp held at Srinivas University's Pandeshwar campus

Mangaluru, Sep 17: A free Covid vaccination drive of the first and second dose was held on September  17, at Srinivas University, city campus, Pandeshwar, under the aegis of National Service Scheme in association with the district Health and Family Welfare department and Jeppu Primary Health Centre.

Srinivas University Vice-Chancellor Dr P S Aithal setting in motion the camp called on the students, teaching and non-teaching staff to get vaccinated to defeat the pandemic.

The camp was conducted under the leadership of Sujay, taluk health officer, Jyothi, Jeppu Primary Health Centre, medical officer Dr Vidhya in association with primary health centre staff  Dr Vidhya, Vijay, Archana, Dhanya and Ujwal, Akash staff of data entry, Dr Annayya Kulal, chief medical officer of Srinivas University and  chief medical nodal and public relation doctor of Wenlock District Covid Hospital, Prof Nelson Pereira, nodal officer of college and staffs cooperated in the camp.

In total, 200 vaccines were given as the first and second dose to students, teaching and non-teaching staff and the public in the drive.
