India sets world record of administering over 2.50 cr vaccine doses in a day

New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS): India on Friday set a new world record of administering highest number of vaccines against Covid-19 in one day.

The country achieved the milestones of administering over 2.50 crores vaccines under the "Vaccine Sewa" campaign to mark the 71th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As per the data, India's total number of vaccination on the day climbed to 2,50,10,390 by midnight, making a world record on the occasion Prime Minister Modi's birthday.

Reacting to it, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated the citizens and said in a tweet, "Congratulation India. India has created a history on birthday of PM Modi. Administration of over 2.50 crores of vaccines in a single day has added new golden chapter in the history of India and the world".

"Today was the day for health workers," he added.

Prime Minister Modi also took to Twitter and said, "Every Indian would be proud of today's record vaccination numbers. I acknowledge our doctors, innovators, administrators, nurses, healthcare and all front-line workers who have toiled to make the vaccination drive a success. Let us keep boosting vaccination to defeat COVID-19".

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi will interact with healthcare workers and beneficiaries of Covid vaccination programme, on completion of 100 per cent first dose coverage for the adult population in Goa on Saturday at 10:30 am via video conferencing.

The daily Covid-19 vaccination in the country was over 1 crore on September 6, August 31 and August 27.

    2.5 cr. people vaccinated – credit to modi.nPetrol price 1 paisa down – it is because of modi power, 10 paisa more – it is because of international market. Since 1947, India is progressing, but media is projecting as if modi has done everything. As long as the people are to believe in these junk stuff, the media and party mouthpiece will keep fooling people.

    Whatever the reason, give credit to modi. This is part of strategic/ IT cell’s propaganda. Nowhere in the world has ever published their PM or President’s picture on their vaccination certificates. But India did. Here in UAE, the government has vaccinated all the communities irrespective of the nationalities for free of cost. But they never boasted for that.

    these figures are managed by the propaganda cell of the saffron party... none of the stats that are announced are true....so many schemes are announced for poor...if you check even 50 percent will not receive them....only first few days it will be made known to public and show off inagurations are held... then on it is only internet soldiers of the party who keep on pushing fake figures and praise their demigods feku and daku.. i think the internet soldiers of saffron party are still not up after yesterday night's cheap drink and gomams..now they will pounce on me..ha ha ha..I am just enjoying their irritation...     Yeah yeah. We locals know if vaccation happened or no. In forum city center various colleges etc vaccination was conducted from 8 to 8 yesterday . It's okay you won't digest this fact. It's okay we will enjoy pork fry and beer cheers. 😁
