Mumbai: Patrakartara Sangha pays homage to journalists who passed away during the year

Mumbai, Sep 24: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha held a programme at Ananda Poojary auditorium, Andheri east on Sunday, Sep 19 to pay homage to the journalists who passed away during the year.

The sangha paid tributes to the late Muralidhar Ananta Shingote, Jaya C Suvarna, M P Kukyan, Seetamma S P Moodigere, Suresh Acharya, Janardhan S Puriya, Doddayya R Salian, S Champa Hejmady, Sampadamane Nagayya Shetty, Gulabi Rama Sanil, Srinivas Poojary, Gulabi Krishna Bhandary, Appi Krishna Shetty, Anand K Poojary, Kamala K Ameen, Vimala K Suvarna, Koosamma J Maroli, Shiva Billava, well wishers and donors.

The programme was presided over by Patrakartara Sangha president Rons Bantwal. Bunts Sangha Mumbai president Chandrahas K Shetty, Karnataka Malla newspaper editor Chandrashekar Palethady, Surendra A Poojary, Bharath bank director Suryakanth Jaya Suvarna, Akshaya monthly magazine chief editor Dr Ishwara Alevoor, Rajaka Sangha Mumbai former president Sathish S Salian, Dr Shivarama Bhandary, Pandith Navinchandra R Sanil, Dr Shiva Moodigere, Sadarama N Shetty, Ramesh J Maroli, Jayanth K Suvarna, Anita P Poojary, Patrakartara sangha vice president Ranga S Poojary, honorary chief secretary Ashoka S Suvarna, honorary treasurer Nagesh Poojary Elinje, joint treasurer Dr G P Kusuma and honorary secretary Ravindra Shetty Talipady offered their floral tributes to the pictures of the departed.

Specially invited member S Daya informed about late Appi Krishna Vedike and late Ananda K Poojary auditorium, conducted the meeting of tributes and prayed for the departed souls.
