Beltangady: Young married woman ends life

Beltangady, Sep 29: In a tragic incident which happened at Nelligudde in Kavalamudoor village on Monday September 27, a young married lady hanged herself at her home. She has been identified as Divya (28), wife of Ashok Shetty, a local who is currently employed in Mumbai.

Divya hanged herself from the ceiling fan by using the veil of her churidar. There was none at home when she took this extreme step. On the basis of complaint made by her mother, Varija from Kandadabettu in Kukkipady village, a case was registered in Pujalkatte police station. Divya is survived by husband and two sons.
