New Delhi, Oct 1: Tata Sons have won the financial bid to run beleaguered Air India. The advance comes after a panel of ministers accepted a proposal that recommender Tata Sons, Bloomberg News reported today. However, no official statement has come in this regard from Tatas and the central government as of now.

The government had received financial bids from Tata Group and SpiceJet founder for the acquisition of Air India. This will mark the return of Air India to Tata fold after 67 years. The Tata Group founded Air India as Tata Airlines in October 1932.

The government nationalised the airline in 1953.

This is a tight slap on the minister who a few days back said that TATA's are against development and anti-national. TATA is already building the new parliament and now taking over Air India. Next will be TCS and Infosys who will win big in Indian Government orders!

Finally the their own Baby is back in the fold of Tatas after brutally torturing & mercilessly beating by the successive governments for decades. It is going to be a tough task to nurture this sick baby Air India back to good health but with the collective strength & determination of Tatas the Air India Maharaja is going to fly high in the skies. It is going to be white elephant for Tatas with all its incompetent and lethargic work force and badly maintained infrastructure for decades.
