Mangaluru, Oct 1: District Youth Congress to conduct campaign against moral policing and hate politics, said district Youth Congress president Luqman Bantwal.

Addressing media here on Friday October 1, Luqman Bantwal said, “Mangaluru is known as a educational and medical hub. Unfortunately, Mangaluru has witnessed 12 moral policing incidents in the last one year which is black mark to the city. Youths should join hands and raise voice against the rising moral policing and hate politics. Students from other state and district come to Mangaluru for their studies. If such moral policing continues, it will be a worry for parents.

“Investors will think twice before investing in Mangaluru. The police department should not fall under any kind of pressure and take action against the culprits. Youth Congress will conduct campaign against moral policing and hate politics,” he said.
