Mangaluru, Oct 7: Dr Bharath Y Shetty, MLA, Mangaluru North, inaugurated several concrete road projects worth Rs 4 crore at Kilenjaaru Kuppepadav panchayath limits on Wednesday October 6.
As many as 16 concrete roads worth Rs 4 crore were inaugurated in the region from special fund, MRPL social welfare fund and fund from Small Irrigation department.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said, “I am happy to inaugurate 16 newly built concrete roads in Kuppepadav panchayat limits worth Rs 4 crore. Development is not only about roads and drainage but also there has to be upgradation of schools and colleges. Improving roads is a part of developing basic facilities. No roads should be left unfinished. I could see the unity among the party representatives in this region which makes my work even easier.”
Former zilla panchayat member Janardhana Gowda Mucchur, former taluk panchayat member Nagesh Shetty, Prasanna Adappa, Jaganath Shetty, gram panchayat member Nithesh, Manjula, Vijaya, general secretary Mahila Morcha, north block, Aruna and others were present.
