Mumbai, Oct 7: A 55-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy, filming the act and releasing the video on social media.
The offence by the culprit was committed twice in 2020 as per the information given by a police officer of Agripada police station of the city.
According to the police officer the family of the boy registered a complaint with the police as the victim was scared of the offender. The officer said that the offender took the photographs of the private parts of the boy initially. Later he started blackmailing the boy based on those photographs and sexually assaulted him. Later the act was posted on social media.
A case under POCSO is registered against the accused and he is arrested.
