Puttur: Oxygen plant built by Campco inaugurated

Puttur, Oct 7: The oxygen plant built by Campco Ltd at a cost of one crore rupees in the premises of Puttur government hospital was inaugurated on Wednesday October 6.

Minister S Angara, inaugurated the unit. He said that a total of 16 oxygen plants have been built in Dakshina Kannada district and added that this has been done to make sure that no one loses life for want of oxygen. He praised the concerned for this achievement, in the face of malicious propaganda, political uncertainty and challenges.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that as per a survey report, Karnataka stands first in Covid management. He said that the central government plans to establish one government medical college in all the districts. He said that the medical college pertaining to Dakshina Kannada district has been requested to be established in Puttur.
