Doha : Tulu Koota Organises Blood Donation Camp

Doha Oct 24 : Tulu Koota Qatar, a socio-cultural organization of members hailing from coastal Karnataka had organized its annual blood donation campaign at Hamad Medical Corporation, Blood Donor’s unit today Friday 22nd October 2010 to commemorate its 11th anniversary falling on this date. 

More than 250 members participated in the campaign which is one of the most looked forward to event organized by the Koota for a noble cause.  Dr. Vishwanath Shetty from Apollo clinic highlighted the importance of blood donation and replied to the queries from the audience.



























































Noted more than 50 members donated blood during today’s camp and witnessed overwhelming response at Tulu Koota Qatar’s annual blood donation campaigns which are being organized since past eleven years.

Qureshi, Second Secretary, Indian Embassy of Qatar, KM Varghese, President, ICC, Milan Arun, Affiliations and Consular Services, ICC, Usha Ravikiran, Joint Secretary & Head of Events, ICC, Saquib Raza Khan, President, KMCA, Arun Kumar, President, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Divakar Poojary, General Secretary, ICBF, Syed Abdul Hye, President, ICC ONE Toastmasters, Arvind Patil, NRI Representative, Karnataka NRI forum,  Ravi Shetty and Prakash Chandra Ajila, former presidents of Tulu Koota Qatar,  Prabhakar former president of KSQ and several prominent members also attended the event and extended their support for this noble cause.

Earlier Mr. Ramachandra Shetty, President of Tulu Koota Qatar welcomed the gathering, Ravi Shetty was the MC, while Seetharam Shetty proposed vote of thanks.

    Tulukoota did a commendable job by donating more than 50 bottles of blood on its formation day.
