Udupi, Oct 9: Renowned brand Achal, known for its one-stop stores of variety of cashew nuts and dried fruits, inaugurated its fourth exclusive outlet ‘Phalguni Udupi’ at Mandavi Trade Centre Kadiyali, Udupi-Manipal road on Saturday October 9.
The proprietor and managing director of Achal, G Giridhar Prabhu inaugurated the showroom by lighting the lamp.
His wife Archana Prabhu, children Achala, Amitha Baliga and Anup Baliga, Deepak Bhat were present on the occasion.
G Giridhar Prabhu said, “This is the most suitable occasion for opening an outlet in Udupi. These days, people are more conscious about their health and fitness. One of the new products from Achal is ‘cashew butter’ which is now getting popular in European countries. It can be consumed directly. The trend is changing. We encourage giving gifts in the form of dried fruits.
“The prime concern of Phalguni has always been quality at affordable rates. We have some unique plans, to make our outlet customer friendly. Eventually, we also aim to reach door steps of senior citizens. We want to extend our service with customer friendly atmosphere.
"People from outside districts and states come for shopping Mangalurean products here. So we developed seven flavours of halwas. Macaroons are special. Currently the showroom offers 11 different products of cashews, dry fruits, spices, sweets, savouries and frozen desserts. The three other retail outlet ate at Balmatta road Mangaluru, Kulur Ferry road Mangaluru and in Bengaluru," he said.
Achal also offers gifts pack to customers at attractive prices. It also caters to many flavoured products like, deep fried, kaju kathli and cashew butter in various flavours and sweets.
