Karkala: College student frustrated with low marks ends life

Karkala, Oct 12: Shabarish (21), a second year degree student of MPM College here, ended his life on Monday October 11 by consuming some poisonous substance at his home.

On the basis of a complaint filed by Rajesh (23), elder brother of Shabarish, a case under the Criminal Procedure Code was registered in Ajekar police station.

The victim stayed with parents at Chimullu in Shirlalu village in the taluk. As his college had holidays, he was at home. He was upset with the low marks he had secured in the second year degree examination. The family members had tried to improve his mood by talking with him and pacifying him, besides giving him advice. He always used to play games on his mobile phone. He remained silent and did not respond to the efforts of the family members.

He was seen writhing in pain at his home after consuming poison when other family members spotted him. He was taken to hospital but on the way, he breathed his last, the report stated.

    Hard and shocking.Now it is a new disease of simply suicide when something goes wrong in studies ,exams or work place.At hme play games on smartphone instead of study well.Pais to the home people who had taken so much pain to educate the,oHeartfelt sympathy to family .May his soul rest in peace.
