Mangaluru, Oct 13: The state government, through an order issued on Tuesday October 12, appointed Maj Siddalingayya S Hiremath as the new commissioner of Pilikula Development Authority.
The order has been given immediate effect in the interests of public service and administrative convenience. Hiremath was serving as the additional commissioner of public instruction, Dharwad.
Before that he had served as the backward classes and minorities officer of Dharwad and commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad City Corporation. He also had worked as the managing director of Hubli Electricity Supply Company Ltd.
