Kundapur, Oct 15: The final days programmes were concluded at historic Kota Amratheshwari temple. The deity in the temple is known as the mother of many children as she is believed to bestow the gift of child to childless couples.

Several religious rituals were performed as part of Vijayadashami in the presence of temple president Anand C Kunder and his wife. Their sons and daughters-in-law , Prashanth Kunder couple and Rakshith Kunder couple took part in Chandikasapthashati Parayana and Durgayaga. The rituals were held under the leadership of Vedamurthi Madhusoodan Bayari.

Entrepreneurs Malpe Anand Suvarna family, Kunder family, temple management committee member M Subraya Acharya, Chandra Poojary, G Sathish Hegde, management official Prashanth Kumar Shetty, former member of the management committee Chandra Acharya, Susheela Somashekar, Jyothi B Shetty, former member of renovation committee Bhujanga Gurikar, temple priests Amrath Jogi, Rupesh Jogi, Prakash Jogi, Santhosh Jogi, Damodar Jogi and others were present.

A large crowd of devotees visited the temple. The temple had observed the Covid protocol and free meals were served outside the temple.
