Mumbai, Oct 18: The 48th annual Dasara festival was celebrated at Churchgate MLA hostel by Durgambika Bhajana mandali in the leadership of canteen convener Jayarama B Shetty and the cooperation of canteen workers.

The idol of the deity was immersed at Chowpatty after day long rituals.

President Harish S Khedekar, vice president Navin K Shetty, honorary chief secretary Suresh Shetty, treasurer Somashekar Bangera, secretary Raju Poojary, joint secretary Chandra Mogaveera, Yogesh Putran, Yogesh Bangera, joint treasurer Manu Patel, chief advisor Vittal Sherigar Katpadi, Durgambika Bhajana mandali members and devotees took part.
