Bantwal: VHP, Bajrang Dal protest condemning attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh

Bantwal, Oct 20: Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal Bantwal unit staged protests below B C Road flyover here on Wednesday evening, October 20 condemning the attacks on Hindu community by Muslim fanatics in Bangladesh during Navarathri festival.

VHP district convener Sarapady Ashok Shetty said that atrocities against Hindus in India which is a Hindu nation by way of its customs, tradition and culture are recurring and VHP and Bhajrang Dal are ready to face them on gram level.

“The killings of Hindus in Bangladesh, attacks on temples, setting houses on fire are barbaric. The Bangladesh government should protect Hindus,” he urged.

He said that RSS is a patriotic organization and condemned criticism against it by some political parties for their selfish motives. “The number of people opposing Hindus is increasing these days. The Hindu community needs to wake up in this connection,” he said.

Bajrang Dal district convener Gururaj, Bantwal unit convener Shivaprasad Tumbe, Santhosh Sarapady, Deepak Ajekala, Vineet Tumbe, Prasad Benjanapadavu, Praveen Kuntalapalke, Harish Amtadi and others were present.
