Mumbai: ‘Rushi Chintaneya Sanidhyadalli’ book written by Kumari Shetty released

Mumbai, Oct 25: “The part played by teachers in uniting the country is huge. They are compelled to work with head heart and hands. Prabhaker Shetty was a model teacher with such noble qualities,” said S M Shetty College Povai principal Dr Sridhar S Shetty.

He was speaking after releasing the book ‘Rushi Chintaneya Sanidhyadalli Bhaga 2’ book written by Kumari Manjunath Shetty and published under the sponsorship of the family of late Prabhaker L Shetty at Nithyananda auditorium, Sion on October 23.

Kannada Sangha former president Umesh Shetty chaired the programme. Bunts Sangha Mumbai ladies wing president Uma Krishna Shetty, Mogaveera newspaper editor Ashok S Suvarna, journalist Chandrashekar Palethady and entrepreneur Bhagavan Alva were on the dais as Guests of honour.

Sumitra Prabhaker Shetty, Kadandale Parari Shekar L Shetty, advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty, Kiran Prabhaker Shetty, Sachin Prabhaker Shetty, Keerthi Sanath Shetty, Bhageerathi K Hegde, Balachandra Hegde, Chandrakanth Hegde, Nidhi S Shetty, Sukhalatha Shetty and others were present. Bantaravani editor Ashok Pakkala introduced the book.

Jayalakshmi Shetty sang a prayer. The guests felicitated author Kumari Manjunath Shetty. Petemane Prakash Shetty welcomed and compered the programme. Avinava Shetty rendered vote of thanks.
