Good move. Let other corrupt officials be clean at least now onwards. What about those who do not perform and ignorant of their duties. Those officials also must be equally wrong and government should compulsorily give them retirement and appoint young meritorious candidates.

The residents of Mangalore, esp the house tax paying ones, are fleeced to fill such corrupt officials' pockets. Every service is provided by the MCC at exorbitant charges. People's incomes have reduced, but MCC charges are going up rapidly. Absolutely inhuman.
