Mangaluru: Carmel School celebrates Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Mangaluru, Nov 1: Carmel school celebrated 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' on the October 30, 2021, in the School Auditorium by the students of class VIII. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by Sr Rose Agnes, the administrator of Carmel School, Mangaluru, followed by a meaningful Prayer Service in which the students prayed for the unity and peace among the people of the nation.

A skit based on the real life incident was presented by the students which highlighted the unity at the time of trials and tribulations. The significance of the day was beautifully exemplified in the dance drama entitled “United we Stand, Divided we Fall”.

Sr Rose Agnes,the administrator, in her invigorating message reiterated the need of unity and love through citing of concrete examples, followed by the pledge. 17 students flawlessly compered the programme. Thanisha welcomed the gathering and Stalon proposed the vote of thanks.

To celebrate the event, several competitions were held.
