Puttur: Hit by car, two wheeler rider succumbs to injuries

Puttur, Nov 2: After a car and a two-wheeler got involved in an accident at Kodineeru in Narimogaru village on Monday November 1, the rider of the scooty was killed.

Somashekhar Rai from Peramogaru, who was riding the Activa vehicle, lost his life. The car was moving towards Savanur while the two-wheeler was headed in the direction of Puttur from Savanur when the accident happened.

BJP leader Arun Kumar Puttila, carried the seriously injured Somashekhar Rai in his car from the accident spot. On the way Rai was shifted to an ambulance. When the ambulance was on its way to Puttur, Somashekhar breathed his last, it is gathered.
