This is a very good initiative. All wrong entries, frauds commited by anti social elements on property records are being identified and coming to light of the persecuted. At the same time the land records department is working efficiently and rectifying fault lines. My personal experience on the 1st day with the new digital system is been great. Vasudev Shetty and other's in department of land records are good, efficient and very accommodating

MCC has to update the property details of the individuals who are already paying taxes for years. The website is good but needs to be updated by MCC officials. It will be more helpful If the system can generate the tax invoice and individuals can pay prior to 90days.

Why should anyone fill the details of their property when it is already provided. I think the Bill collectors should fill in all the details of their respective wards and the system should generate the Property Tax automatically. If MCC makes any changes in the tax rate or for any additional tax collection, they should make changes in the locked main screen which only they can make changes and it will apply to all the property tax payers next year. The owner should not be burdened with putting the data again and again. Rather the system should generate the tax for all the property owners like the Electricity Bill. Seeing the Bill one should make the online payment. MCC should realise and make the online payment user friendly and remove these complications.

Logged into the website. Went to the "locate your Property" section. Found the property easily enough after providing the "Door Number" but the details required thereafter are impossible to locate and fill in. The User Guide PDF does not download properly. Guess it will be back to the agents at Mangalore One once the time comes to pay the Property Tax in furst quarter of 2022.

Once the details of the property are filled, it should be saved, so that the same details need not be filled every year for the subsequent years. If there is a change in the details of the property one should be allowed to edit it in the subsequent years. MN
