Balli encourages couples or families including children to check in together as that can leave out any anxiety and stress of being away from the dear ones. The rooms and facilities are large enough to accommodate families and children. Activities planned are conducive to adopting a healthy lifestyle (including a strictly vegetarian menu). The vast area of tropical rainforest as the private backyard is safe to walk and hang around. It could be such a welcoming surprise especially for children, couples and families to explore the silence and attempt an inward journey.
Non-vegetarian food and alcohol is neither available nor allowed when you are with Balli Ayur Grama. That is not because of any personal discipline but authentic Ayurveda practice insists on certain stringent rules and guidelines for it to work appropriately.
There is a Yoga and Meditation teacher and Kalari trainer as well in Balli. An exclusive yoga hall awaits you on the fourth floor. Soon there will be meditation decks and huts in the forested area - possibilities for you to literally go wild with the WfH options are endless, especially with broadband WiFi made available in the Balli’s exclusive forested property as well.
Architecturally too Balli Ayur Grama boasts of a traditional, vintage structure to accentuate the organic and living principle of human being with scientific fenestration and potential space. The eco-friendly, herbal, holistic "Chathushala" (architecture with four quarters around a central courtyard) was accomplished in 8 years, with the blend of Indian architectural principles termed Vaastu Shaastra. There are 7 suit rooms, 8 double rooms and 5 single rooms on 4 floors. At a time this could accommodate up to 21 people.
Typically the cost of any treatment at Balli Ayur Grama would depend upon the nature and age of the ailment/ condition and your availability of days to undergo an elaborate and systematic treatment procedure.
Balli Ayur Grama were awarded with Best Organic Farmer Award for the year 2020-21 by department of Agriculture, government of Karnataka.

The Balli property is densely vegetated for several centuries with more than 800 species of identified and tagged trees. The Balli family has been known to be living here at least for the last five generations. This breathtakingly beautiful slice of an ecologically strategic tropical rain forest is part of the famous Western Ghats in southern India. Balli must have been a natural, intuitive and more than poetic choice for a family name, we believe, considering what you see all around you is trees and a galore of creepers reaching out to the heavens. Balli in the local language Kannada means a vine or a creeper. Etymology of the word can be traced back to the word VALLI in Sanskrit language meaning the same. Apparently the Balli logo is also inspired by the idea of a tendril in a vine. You might have noticed that a tendril reaches out to find support for sustenance and growth for the plant - quietly and intuitively. Similarly Balli Ayur Grama is one place where all of you can reach out and seek support for a sustainable, healthy and flourishing life ahead.
Dr Supreeth remembers his grandmother, herself a healer, has devised some secret recipes which he now inherits. Tracking the forest paths in their backyard along with his grandmother, Dr Supreeth grew up discovering the magical world of herbs and healing. Today, he is rightfully passing on this invaluable tradition to his 7 and 3-year-old sons who are already familiar with a lot of the plants and trees in their forest-like backyard. One would be delighted to realize that Balli Ayur Grama is in safe hands.
