Kundapur, Nov 2: “Local organizations can grow when they unite and solve the problems. The service of Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala identified by their pro society work is really praiseworthy,” said minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
Speaking in the 45th Rajyotsava awards felicitations by Kota Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala, he said that seven authors have received Jnanapeeta awards for Kannada. “The unique achievement in the country shows the glory of our Kannada language,” he said.
Kota Janata company director Prashanth Kunder who inaugurated the programme earlier said that the use of Kannada is decreasing among the youth. “The inferiority complex about Kannada should be given up and Kannada should be used for reading, writing and transacting,” he said. Yuvaka Mandala president Amrath Jogi presided over the programme. Social worker Ravi Katpadi was presented Panchavarna Rajyothsava award and felicitated.
Karthattu Chitrapadi based Aghoreshwara Kalaranga was presented Panchavarna special award. Blood donor Dinesh Bandavya, Mescom’s Ummar Saheb, Police personnel Prashanth Padukere and Khelo India sportsperson Satvik Kome were honoured. Cash was distributed for medical treatment in memory of Manoor late Udaya Poojary and grocery was distributed to Manipal based Saralabettu orphanage. A poor student was adopted. The new banner of Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala was unveiled on the occasion.
Pandeshwar Raktheshwari temple trustee K V Ramesh Rao and Vivek educational institute principal K Jagadish Navada spoke. Amrath Jogi, president of the Sangha chaired the programme.
State Handicrafts development corporation president Dr Beloor Raghavendra Shetty, state BJP backward class morcha secretary Vittal Poojary Airodi, entrepreneur Jayaraj V Shetty, Amratheshwari temple managing committee member Subraya Acharya, G Sathish Hegde, Udupi advocate’s association president Nagaraja Ganiga Malthar, association founder president Shevadhi Suresh Ganiga and association honorary president Sathish S Kunder were present as Guests of honour.
