Mangalore: 140 Passengers Sail to Lakshadweep on 'Mini Coy'

Mangalore, Nov 6: ‘Mini Coy,’ the weekend holiday cruise vessel to Lakshdweep, sailed off from New Mangalore Port on Saturday, November 6, with 140 passengers on board the vessel.
The vessel will reach Kadmatt island, Lakshadweep on Sunday November 7 morning at 10 am. The vessel will return to Mangalore on Monday November 8.
Lakshadweep is located at a distance of about 144 nautical miles from Mangalore coast. This maiden trip turned out to be a luxurious Diwali gift introduced by the Lakshadweep Islands Tourism Department Authority.
The trip package costs Rs 5000 per individual. The trip lasts less than 14 hours.
